Our partner, Kickdrum Technologies decided to bid on the screenshot tool known as Capture after Atlassian decided to divest it from their existing stack. My design team, Kickdrum, and leadership worked on a product proposal to purchase Capture as an innovation opportunity for Kickdrum. We designed a product roadmap featuring new benefits and deeper integration into the Atlassian product ecosystem. On top of designing the product vision for the proposal; we also developed a complex financial model that provided revenue sharing for both Atlassian and Kickdrum. We tied the proposal together by developing a 4-year gantt timeline which covered all SaaS marketing activities in relation to the product launch and subsequent feature releases.
